The only problem with your situation is that you took apart the assembly. I haven't heard of anyone else doing this to install a B&M shifter or knockoff.

Try breaking down your posts in to paragraphs with each one relating to something else. In your last post above you could have whined in the first paragraph and made another paragraph for when you started to talk about what was wrong again. Also using capital letters at the beginning of sentences helps people read your post easier. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just generally people don't like to read through things written like crap, much less help the person afterwards. Reading through your first post is like when I try to drive my car through 1' of snow. I start to go, then all the crap piles up and I stop.
