I have HEARD of it being done... never seen it, but I have seen rotaries in 86's, and sr20's in 86's... so you have to assume that if they both fit in that car they must fit in the 240. That would be a cool swap though...
There is a guy with an FC at the shop right now with a busted rotor, me and my friend were joking aroudn that when we pull the engine we should buy it from the guy for a couple hundred buck, rebuild it, and drop it in my car. He has rebuilt a bunch of rotories already.. so that wouldn't be the problem, and 600 bucks for an engine with a full rebuild would be sweet... but the thing that worries me is the reliablity of the older engines... the fd was more reliable than the fc... but the fc more efficient cause it didn't have that tt setup. I'll have to see what the engine and mounts really look like next to the KA that is lying on the floor in the shop right now.. we are still waiting for the guys new 13b to show up though..
