Egr leaking.

KA24DE The small tube coming out the bottom of my EGR valve is leaking and so is the pipe connecting into the header where the fitting is. I found this out yesterday when I Seafoamed the car.

Ok so normally emissions stuff I would just take out since I live in Florida. But I should be moving to Ohio in a few months for maybe a year or two and I was wondering how important the EGR stuff is for emissions testing. Like could I get away with it removing it? And if I remove it it won't hurt anything right? I don't know the emissions rules and stuff I been in FL most of my life so I know nothing about emissions stuff.
