I'm having the same EXACT problem.

mines pulling about 15Hg at idle too, same with you?

Also mine breaks up when its cold and eventually it seems it "warms up" and the idle will go to around 1050 and it will pull hard. Otherwise it idles at 650 or 700 and sounds really loppy.

Also as well as what you were saying it does the samething in the morning with not wanting to start and somehow pushing the gas pedal helps.
