my sr is runnin the same way. im scared its goin to die on me also. what i found is that i have a 12v wire that is gettin grounded, makin my maf connector gett power in all 3 wires. i think ur issue is with ur maf wires either gettin grounded or voltage where its not suppose to. i can drive my car with my maf disconnected also. im gonna go try to find where mine is grounded, and hopefully mine wont die. good luck.
