C's Version 1 Short Shifter w/ Short Tomei Duraon Shift Knob. I purchased this a long while ago, when I still had my first 240sx. It was some time before I got the chance to install it, and unfortunatly didn't really get to use it that much before I decided to part the 240 out, but was sure to keep the shifter

. I have my new 240 now and am awaiting my RedlineGoods.com Shift Boot, which is 1.2" shorter to sit better with the shorter shifter, untill I install it again. Soon!
I have not driven a car with a B&M Short Shifter so I can not do a direct comparison, but from what I have heard the B&M Short Shifter has some bad buzzing at High RPM's (~5000+). My C's has absolutely no buzzing, from Idle to Redline, nothing. The all around quality is great, I enjoy it very much. The 240's have a 20% shorter throw, as compared to stock, I believe it was. A very nice, and noticeable, difference none the less. I can't wait to get it installed again.
I found C's official site a while back, when the discussion came up on another forum, when they were believed to be discontinued. I swore I listed the link in my post, but I guess I was mistaken. Well regardless, the site I found had just about ALL their shifters listed at $400.00, from RPS13 to Supra to Skyline. I tried doing some more searching just now, but was not able to find anyone that is selling them, so I am assuming they're officially discontinued. nengun.com appeared to have them for S14/S15 Sr20DeT (Can also work for Ka/Rb, right?), and they were runnin' at $175.00-$180.00, but don't appear to have any left in stock.
All 'n all, If you can find yourself a C's Short Shifter, buy it and don't think twice about it. B&M appears to be a great shifter, and I had planned on getting one myself, but after looking into the C's, I felt it would be a slightly better shifter. As I said, I haven't used B&M, so I can't do a direct comparison. Also, based on research, one of the clinchers from people purchasing C's over B&M, is mainly that C's doesn't have the high RPM buzzing that most have. Ok, that is alot, I am done. Hope it helped.
Ok, I lied. The Tomei Duracon Shift Knob is very nice knob. Although it is not a weighted shift knob, the plus behind it is that it does not get hot, not even a 1* rise in temperature while sitting in direct sunlight. Felt, since it was specified, I would throw that in there.
