Well, Im not trying to dis your wheels, not at all. I like 16's I have rocked lots of 16's. I am saying it sucks because good sizes are drying up.

225/50/16 Was my favorite size, Even on a x7 or x7.5 so for x8 you should be cool. It has enough sidewall that it will make for a great DD tire.

Its difficult to really get a cool aggressive stretch look on the 16 just because of the TOTAL diameter of the rolling circle when using the 16.

You also want to make sure you find a 225/50/16 in a tire that has a "small frame".

That means go to tire shops, look at the tires side by side, some of the "frames" of the sidewall on some are larger/smaller than others.

Dunlop Direzza DZ101 Sticky as Hell, Small sidewall frame, inexpensive as hell, great tire!
