Get off the thin sidewalls of the KA, you have no Idea what they are capable of. Ever seen the NA GT3 race car with the KA engine, yes they have 350rwhp on a NA, and yes there bored out too. Not very streetable, but very capable. You main concern with that much power on the KA is the Crank. I am trying to find out if a Chevy Z24 crank would work on a KA. Back to the subject on hand....
If I wanted to run that much power then yes, I would get a SR.
But I plan to be at 400rwhp with my Turbo KA, no NOS. So do what you want to do. I will spend more money in the end...
