To both of you, read above. The key code is only for the dealer to use and they do not keep that information after 10 years. 99% of the time the code is long gone before the new owner gets the car. *If* on the off chance it still exists in the glovebox they may be able to cut a key, but doubtful.

Best bet, pull the rear latch and key it, it's the easiest to get out on either chassis and is the least likely to be worn out.
