yeah george, I would venture to say that either the ECU is fried on one particular driver, the continuity of the signal from the ECU is bad via hacked wiring, or the harness is crap alltogether.
Try to get a friends car around (i know you know people) swap your ecu on to their to cross-check functioning (easiest way for you imo) then if your ECU is fine, i would suggest getting a whole new harness. Life is a lot easier, anyways same thing I told you when you dropped by, im guessing the coilpack I gave you didnt make a difference.
