I seem to see a bit of posts about peoples problems with sr’s.  Of course it is a salvaged engine, considering getting it from like heavy throttle or unstable…

Should it be dependable, in stock performance levels, on long distance trips, like over 1k miles at a time, possibly as long as 3k.  This is kind of a faulty question I guess, what I mean is, *if* you broke down in the middle of a thousand mile trip and needed something more than a plug or hose and such, would you be screwed?  Considering that, it isn’t a US market motor of course as we all know, how hard would it be to get a part for on the road (basically, my biggest fear).
