I have a drive coming up to VIR and that is appx. 4.5 hrs from my house.  I will be doing it w/ my SR.  I, like Loren, change my oil every month.  With the heat that a turbocharged engine produces it would be wise to do the same thing.  Regular flushes of the coolant and changing the tranny and differential fluid at least once a year is also a good idea.  It's all about regular maintenace that makes a good engine great.
