The fact of the matter, here, is that if dude's uncle was trying to charge him those amounts for THOSE parts, than he was raping him, it is a figure of speech used when someone is being grossly overcharged. I call a 500 and 300% markup, respectively, rape and you're welcome to call it what you want.

Check with AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly, Advance or whichever your discount parts shack of choice may be, do that before you go to the $tealer$hip, and if ALL those fail you, stab your uncle in the face repeatedly until he gets his pricing together.
