Car is a 1996 240sx ka24de auto motor completely stock.

It's my girls' and has been driving great, last night we drove quite a bit and even stopped at a gas station about 3/4 of a mile from my apartment. Car turned on like normal and ran fine all the way home.

This morning I was gonna take my girl to work, and the car was just turning over. I figured it was a bad battery since it looked corroded and turned slower than normal. I took the battery to checkers, and auto zone. Both stores confirmed dead battery. I purchased a new one and it cranked over stronger but, still only turned.

It actually smelled like it was flooding but I gave no gas on any of the cranks with the exception of the first before purchasing the new battery. At one point it started but died within seconds, sputtered as if was out of gas. There is over 1/2 tank in the car.
