We did 4 oil changes on the motor and it was still sludged up to all hell. All he wanted to "hook us up" with is some new bearings to help with the rebuild.

New bearing don't give us the turbo back.
New bearings don't replace the grinded up crank that needs to be replaced. New bearings don't replace the rocker arms and cams that were grinded up. New bearings don't pay for the machine shop to rebuild the head and block. New bearings don't give me my weekends back troubleshooting the stupid "motorset" all to find out it has rod knock and he won't replace it.
New bearings don't do shit and Ed is kidding himself if he thinks that makes up for the way he treated us.

Ed blamed it on us for taking 4 months to get the car up and running. When you have that many things wrong with a motor and can only work on it on the weekends, how do you expect to get it running right in a months time when you have to troubleshoot every single thing that came with the motor.

He knew there was sludge in the motor after I had talked to Jack about it to find out what we should do. He knew it had a bad ECU because he replaced it. He denies the fact that the mechanical timing was off and said we installed the CAS wrong. He made it out like I was lying to him that I had to fix the mechanical timing. I know how to stab a CAS and I know how to time a motor. I had to fix the mechanical timing to get it running right because the stupid chain was off. He then said, sometimes we have to set the timing to 30 degrees to get them to run right like as if he knows all these special tricks of the trade. I feel bad for all the cars they set up to 30 degrees at their shop. Say good bye to your pistons and piston rings. I prefer OEM 15 degrees all day long, all day strong, especially with cali piss gas.

I am not knocking anyone that works at RND. My only beef is with Ed since he's the one in charge and he's the one that made the decision not to replace the block.

If they would of given me something like that i would of droped that shit back off and said F u guys and got my money back... weather i would of had a motor or not lol
i haven;t herd to bany good things from there to... have 2 blocks from venious but i dno anyhting about them....
