He would have to tape off a lot on the inside - I'm not removing the wiring, HVAC system, firewall sound deadening, etc etc. He hasn't given me a price diff. Since he's doing it all on the side and doesn't know how long it'll ultimately take, I don't think he really knows what he's going to charge me yet. He originally quoted me $800-900 w/ bodywork, but it's going to be more than that since bodywork + paint is already $850.
My car is going to be way too nice to buy for making into a racecar. The interior should never come out again until the car is so old and beat up it's worthless.
By that time, it'll need to be repainted anyway. haha
