So a blown turbo could cause this? I have the same problem on my stock SR. I have perfect compression (150 in all four cylinders) , new and gapped iridium plugs, brand new fuel pump, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, new timing components, perfect timing, no boost leaks. I pressurized the intercooler system and oil started squirting out from between the timing cover and the head. I already had a small oil leak there, but should that happen?
The car pulls hard all the way to 4k or about 10psi at full throttle. If you gradually build boost and RPMs it runs fine.
Mine smokes after driving it for a while and letting it idle, i.e. stop lights. I'm not losing coolant, or oil, however I have lots of oil in the "snorkel".
Sorry to thread jack but it seems like we have similar problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
