240's are fine in the winter...
as long as you don't take it above 2 mph.
Seriously, driving my 240 for 15 minutes in the winter time was more exhausting than a road trip from LA to Salt Lake.
As long as you treat her with respect you should be fine. Don't do anything stupid and learn to drive in the snow in an open, empty parking lot where you don't have to worry about wrecking anything. Take your car out on the first day it snows and see when it looses traction.
Not the preferred car for winter driving, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
