my friend wrote this, but this sums up my feelings
I just read the article in SCC on Mahmood's 240SX and I have some observations to make. This guy is a supreme idiot and here are some reasons why:

1. "At first, Mahmood thought he had done right (speaking about his Mustang GT). The 5.0 emblems on the fender looked kinda cool, the Mustang guys welcomed him with open arms, and he beat a stock Civic EX automatic the first night."

--Wow...he beat a stock Civic EX automatic with a Mustang GT. He should be in Formula 1.--

2. "I saw a 240 keeping up with a Supra, and had to find out what it was."

--Well, I think you found out incorrectly there, bud. Or maybe it was a Supra with a Corrola 4-cyl. swap.--

3. "This was a man with a plan. He had already picked out a body kit, rear wing, paint, seats, and wheels."

--This guy obviously has a need for speed. No wimpy front wheel drive cars for him. Only pretty and slow RWD power goes around here. Great priorities there, Speed Racer.--

4. "From one angle, the 240SX is purple, from another angle, it's gold, then it's green. We're told the paint cost $350 per quart."

--I don't think I need to say anything about this.--

5. "In the go-fast department, a GReddy header, an A'PEXi N1 dual cat-back exhaust, and an AEM intake were added."

--Nevermind my previous comments, this guy knows how to tune an engine for optimal performance. He must have upped the puny stock 155 hp to at least 155.9.--

6. "The 240 can now thump with the best of them (referring to the neato stereo system)."

--That extra .9 hp is now negated due to extra weight. In fact, it has now been relatively lowered to 145 hp.--

7. "He's thinking S15 front-end swap and a last-generation 300ZX twin turbo motor swap with custom turbos and intercooler units."

8."People think it's a Skyline, or something out of the Fast & The Furious - but Mahmood is quick to note there were no 240's in F&F"

Then what in the monkeyfuck was Vin Diesels manbitch driving?


--Typical. So very typical. How many times have we heard about the wild, insane future plans that will turn the car into an unruley street beast. This bullshit factor is increased by a multiple of 3 when the engine is not of the same platform and then again by 10 whenever 'custom turbos' or 'custom intercoolers' are to be used.--

In short, this guy makes me sick. His car makes baby Jesus cry.
