Disassembling the motor, buying new rings and putting it back together.
Your question is too broad.
Get your hands on the FSM and read up on the dissambling of the motor. Also plenty of SR build threads around.
Suggestion would be to find someone with experience to help you out or in the very least supervise your job.
Don't understand how you joined in June 2004 and are asking this question...
