You have it backwards. Non-abs cars have 3 lines going into the brake master cylinder, one for the rear wheels (which is split later) and one for each of the front wheels.

ABS cars, as posted above, have two lines going to the brake master cylinder, and a funky hydraulic hardline nest of madness over on the passenger side of the engine compartment by the firewall. It's removable
