well if you refuse to understand basic electricity then I wouldn't advise yourself to be pulling anything out. Leave it to a professional.
If you find another fuse box at a junk yard, get it so that you have wire tails coming off the back, I'd say cut the wires off at around1' of length. That way you'll have enough room to splice.
Then just find a reputable shop that does wiring and pay them to fix your shit. If you're constantly blowing new fuses that you put in there then you got some wires melted/fused together that aren't supposed to be. To be honest you are prolly gonna need a new chassis & dash wiring harness to be safe. Once you start having melted wires then you're whole car wiring system is suspect.
