Why would I just be silent because it's the "right thing to do"? I don't believe my opinion is particularly insulting. I also know there are many people who share my opinion who won't / aren't here to speak up for themselves.
And about people saying blatantly rude things like "you shouldn't be proud to be in the military", is it really that hard to ignore someone with such ignorant opinions? For some reason you'd think being thick-skinned would come with being a soldier.
And endless, please, there is a forum for your qualms too.
