If I juiced the ka, I would want a new crank, pistons, rods and a full valve train rebuild... so I think it would be a lot of work, if you do all that, then engine is new anyways. No mileage really doesn't matter right? And I have hear numbers as low as 7.5 (motor trend, 1996) to 8.5 (some crack addict on the street) so it is really tough to say!
