T2x will have the same flange as any other T2x turbo.  The 2x (25 or 28) are also the size of the compressor.  The larger the number, the larger the turbo.  A T3 has a completely different flange than a t2x, and a T3/4 has a t3 flange for mounting purpose.
Also... that is a broad generalization.  A t3 will have a 4-bolt mount in most cases and mount directly to a rev-hard manifold... but special cases like the early 90's T-bird had T3 turbos with a funny 5-bolt mount.  
So... if new, the flange will have the same mount as any other turbo of the same family.  Other than that... it is just a sizing term.
