you can do this..

- approach a turn
- downshift
- turn the wheel towards the turn
- then quickly steer the opposite way
- then slam the brakes instead of gas.

That'll stop you..

j\k dont do that..

the only way you can really stop good is what everyone else says.  DONT DRIVE FAST
