It's on the driver's side fender, right where it bolts to the wheel well.  It is the only grey plastic clip there.  You can undo it if you want, but I think that it hurts stuff.  My tranny kicks hard, and makes metal on metal clangs when it shifts.  Just waiting for it to die so I can swap!
