i know no one is flaming me! even though my posts say im a newbie, im not. this is the second 240 i have had and i worked for nissan for several years in different positions. im dont mean to sound cocky but i know more about 240's than probably the majority of the people on this forum and less than some people on this forum. ive been around hot rods all my life (im 3o now). the emissions thing doesnt effect me i live in missouri. as far as maintaining a high compression engine, its not any different than a new toyota celica gts with 11 to 1 compression(just maintain the car). with a dedicated fuel management system and a jwt ecu detonation shouldnt even be a factor.i have not seen the dyno charts for this motor either but the power range listed by the comany is from 2800 rpm to 7800+. that should be pretty usable on the street. they have a stage 3 and 4 engine that are NOT streetable 268hp and 298hp respectively. they claim the stage two are combination street/slalom/driver school/rally type engines. anyway thanks for your input.
right in there catalog.
