When you unscrew it from and pull it out it loses its ground and then the stereo grounds out through the antenna. WTF are you talking about. The antenna is used for the ground.
A GROUND CANT GROUND OUT.
g6civcx got it right.
unscrewing the mounts has no effect.
I installed my radio,
plugged in the antenna.
reattached the battery and tested the radio...
outside of the dash with it sitting on my passenger seat.
It worked perfect.
Then i put it in the dash.
if anything its that weird electron fuse in the driver side kick panel.
