Yes, the trunks are adjustable in that you can move them side to side so you can get them to close properly. In CursedGTRs case, I believe he wants the body panels and the trunk to line up flush, height wise. (that's why he's building up the trunk) If you put in a spacer, you can probably get the trunk to sit flush, but the space between the weatherstrip and trunk will be bigger now, so you might leak water into the car in the future. Awesome attention to detail!
