* as a side note, I don't think we can really compare a 240sx vert vs coupe to a BMW vert vs coupe.

The reason is I believe the BMW verts were built as verts from the beginning and had the additional bracing from the factory.

The 240sx vert was basically 240sx coupe shells w/ bracing added on by ASC (think that is what it's called) afterward.
