u might be able to get some more miles out of ur shocks after u upgrade springs, but if u can afford shocks now, do it. if ur gonna pay someone to put springs on, theyll have the old shocks right there. it doesnt cost any more $$ in labor to put NEW shocks in at that time. if u dont replace em, cuz u alter the dampening position of the shock once lowered, they may blow out sooner than u think.....with luck ud get some more miles. if u cant afford shocks (only Koni's for S14) but want to lower it, take the chance....u just might end up buying shocks anyway later!
