The stock recirculating BOV lowers turbo lag between shifts. If you remove the recirculating BOV and just vent it to the atmosphere (so u get that cool BOV sound) you might throw off the MAF cause it is expecting that extra air to come back to it. Nothing that can't be fixed with a litlle tuning or a aftermarket ECU or just reset the ECU so it has to learn not to expect that air, it's not that big of a deal i think.
