I had the a/c working for 3 years in a 91 hatch with an sr20det. Just recently I noticed that the compressor isn't kicking on with the interior control unit when I hit the A/C switch the green light doesn't come one but thats common with those consoles for the lights to go out on them. I check the fuse inside and that was good. I tested the relay with another relay that I know works. Still didn't kick in. I took the relay out and bypassed it with a wire and the compressor kicked in. Has anyone had this problem? What do you guys think it is? A/C Control unit the problem? Low pressure switch? Are there any other tests that I can do? Thanks in advance.
