The lack of power till ~5200 could be cause by either a bad coolant temp sensor or a bad knock sensor.
If it's the temp sensor you would notice a difference in how the engine runs when it's cold compared to when it warm.
If it's the knock sensor, it's retarding timing until ~5000 rpm where the ecu just ignores the signal and then it's running better.
