So my car wasnt starting for some odd reason... but while looking in the engine bay during cranking I noticed a spark! On the back of the block, on the head theres a factory small braided stainless wire bolted on, and a connector at the other end. Its kinda by where all the coil packs ground. I had my friend hold it to ground while I cranked it...and it burnt him and started smoking. WTF! that much power from a ground/....
So is the head not grounded correctly? If i attach it to ground i am afraid it will start smoking again. My block is gorunded with 4gauge wire from the starter bolt right to frame..with a good ground. Should I reground the head??? anytone had this problem? Do I have a short?
