You don't have to use this writeup if you don't want to. Worked fine on the 3 cars I've converted to 5 speed.

The actual tranny harness is separate from the lower engine harness
so what he is saying is that you can just unplug the plugs by the fuse box that go to the tranny and take the tranny out along with all the plugs, and then you still have the lower harness bolted to the starter, alternator and some other plugs.
