anywho... get a pfc, tuning is not that hard. Just pick up a FC Datalogit and a wide band.

I sell them .... at TurboFabparts.com Email me.

It's not that easy. AFR is just one tiny part of it. Most of the Japanese base maps on the power fc's people bring to my dyno are WAY WAY TOO Advanced and are in danger of blowing their engine if they use them. + A lot of local tuners who tune them on Dyno Jets are not able to really see the effect that timing makes on part throttle or low boost tuning (Because you can only do a flat full throttle pull on most dynojets).

My maps I have found some pretty awesome tricks and tests to make torque and fuel efficiency on Nissan motors all through the rev range in all throttle points, which is a lot more comprehensive.

AFR is just tuning for your pocket book (gas) and mixture.

Power and torque come from adjusting timing points in the map. This is a little more complicated and can only be tested (to see results) on a mechanical instrument that will measure power. Torque and Power will go up and up to a certain point with increased timing advance in the map on the EMS. Then their is a certain point where you lose power. That is where you are beginning to get dangerous with advance. You can only know this if you can systematically measure power and torque gains at the wheels etc.

Tuning by knock sensor is also not an end all because most Nissan knock sensors do not refresh very quickly and the number reading is a vague miss-interpretation of what is really going on in the cylinder. Drops in power tell you exactly what is going on in the cylinder.

Option 1: im thinking about getting a power fc for my 13 blacktop but I’m not to sure I can find anyone to tune it for me. Option 2: send my ecu to be tuned by empathy. The only problem with that is that to get my ecu tuned it cost a few less hundred bucks then the power fc. And I would rather have the power fc. Any opinions
Another service I am prepared to start offering is clandestine Power FC base map tunes.

Basically if you have a data logit or a find a friend that does I can sell you a dyno-tuned map (I have a lot of them for a lot of different set ups) and email it to you.

Then you just load it into the data logit while serial is connected hit, WRITE ALL and there you go, great start and good map in.

I was thinking of charging like 150 bucks via paypal for this service.

The maps can be slightly custom tailored to your setup. I can also have you mail your actual Power FC to me and we can do something similar and send it back to you.

There is no guarantee that is will be 100% perfect fit for your setup, but neither is an Enthalpy tune. + with the Power FC as an investment you will have a fully re-programmable unit with close loop boost control if you choose.

I will offer free unlimited email support to anyone who buys a map, as well as support with navigating and using the commander to make changes after the initial map is being used.

Cheers hope this helps.
