Do you even know that there isn't a standardized way of measuring contrast ratio? All these 'dynamic' contrast ratios aren't even close to being right. It's all about the advertising. And it's not just the LCD crowd doing it anymore. The new Panasonic plasmas claim a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Contrast ratio, response time, refresh rate, and a bunch of other stuff is just marketing BS.
