I would get new plugs/wires/filters (oil filter, fuel filter, and maybe an air filter)...and switch to a slightly thinner motor oil. If that doesnt help, why not let the car sit and idle for a few minutes before you take off? If you are on a budget, I would change the fuel filter first, then plugs, then the oil. My car was sluggish awhile back, and I got new plugs and a K&N air filter..and it came back to life.
