Are you talking about intake manifolds? It is documented that many tubular exhaust manifolds purchased off of ebay have cracked (quality manifold crack too though), I have yet to see an intake manifold actually crack. I have heard stories that the castings were so porous they would leak, but never crack. Not saying it hasn't happened, it's just the first time I hear of it. If you are willing to do the work that is required to make the Freddy manifolds useable, they are an ok deal. However, it is still quite apparent that if you want the highest quality, buy the real deal.
