seriously, just file a police report. i know you wanna be nice, but something like this happened to me and i was stupid and didnt file a report. needless to say, i was dealt with a bunch of bs form the other side--started to even lie and say i hit'em! luckily i went thru insurance and got 1700 bucks for a fender bender.
so yea, do it while you still can!
