You guys get it way worse than anything I have encountered. The worst encounters I have had with people about information pertaining to may car has been mild. Once, a old man chased me down in his pick up truck to yell that my steering wheel was on the wrong side, he than sped away. Otherwise, I have had someone say that there is no way my car is from Japan because it is not a Skyline. The conversation ended with him telling me how a fox body mustang would make a better drift car than an S13. Most of the people here just like to tell me that one day my car will be illegal.
Anyway, please email that person back about your car and correct them, and then as someone mention earlier link them to this thread.
