The same can be said for miguel, screw mob works. I can tell you every big name shop that everyone recommends is going to quote you 3-5 k. your car will be missing for a minimum of 2-3 months with excuses.

the more you get on their ass to get the car done the more your car will come back to you with missing bolts, paint imperfections, etc.

you want show quality paint, learn how to paint and paint it yourself or get rid of your car for 3-5 months and get it painted. I've had my experiences with body shops and I'll never take my car to one again.

I fell for the same "they do show cars in the magazine" paint job bullshit that many people fall for.

DONT FALL FOR IT!

Go to their shop, let them show you cars that they have done, build a relationship with the owner and feel re assuered you're not going to get dicked around because they're too busy taking insurance jobs over your "dream" car.

My little brother does body work, I would completely trust him in painting my car and I know the turn around would be worlds faster than any body shop because I can help work on my own car and ensure it's not being done half assed.

So good luck with whatever you decide. But paying 3-4k for a repaint is a straight up *grab your ankles and get fucked* move. It doesn't even cost that much for the materials.
