Yeah, but is anything known about the materials of the gears, the amount of material that could be removed to accomadate larger gears inside the tranny, or the full amount of power the SR tranny can withstand?? I mean, assuming you could sandwich smaller synchros, or place gears closer together, it might be possible to fit smilar width gears in the 6-spd. So, really is theory vs. theory.
