While there is an elbow topic...

All the divorced outlet elbows say they're better for spool blah blah blah

I've heard they make no difference unless you're running a bigger t2 turbo (i.e. GT2871R etc), when they will help with boost creep.

I've also heard that the regular elbows make more power and flow better than the divorced ones.

Any input?

EDIT: Do people still but slits between runners on manifolds? I'm doing my swap tomorrow night/Saturday/Sunday. I remember reading some time ago that people cut the flanges between the runners to help warpage or something of the sort. I just got my SSAC ( I know, I know) and was trying to figure out if I should do that.

Regardless, I think I'm taking the elbow and manifold and having the flanges all resurfaced to make sure the level, because the turbo flange on the elbow definitely isnt. LOL
