No. Cutting the pedal takes all of 7 minutes. Then you slip on the pedal cover and call it a day. If you replace the pedal you have to drop the steering column, unbolt everything, wrestle it out of there, wrestle the new one back in, then bolt everything back up, re-adjust your brake pedal, blah blah blah. Too much work.
