Most shops have their bitches actually do the work while the guys that actually know what's up collect the money. I am willing to bet that's what happened here. The minimum wage laborers, probably acquired south of the border, fucked it up and the guys in charge were total douches because it was warrantied. So typical in the automotive industry.
