ok so i got the fuse, grounded the 10 gauge ground, and removed the old 100a by removing the block and removed the insulator by removing the 12 nut. so now, the reason i first broke the insulator was because my 97 ka lower harness has a 8 gauge charging wire and the ring has two little tabs on the ring and it didnt really fit so i opened the little tabs hoping it would fit. so now to prevent that problem, do i modify the ring so it will fit nice and snug inside the insulator? or do i tighten it so it sits on top of the insulator? thanks
