i think as car designers try and make things more futuristic shit just keeps getting tackier and tackier

and honestly as far as aerodynamics go that thing probably causes more drag than hard metal (you guys are dreaming)

if you don't understand what i mean i can make it a little easier on your brains think of when you swim in a pool your skin hitting the water makes little waves which puts a drag force on you

they recently came out with a new type of wet suit that is incredibly thick and the material is actually like a metal suit, people are breaking more records than ever in these suits

cloth would create an incredible drag at high speeds, as if the drag you have to overcome in horsepower going faster than 60 mph wasn't enough

a better idea is retractable body panels and parts similar to how soft tops work

electronic controlled wings, canards, and diffusers

now that is rad

bmw needs to stop fingering their butts and waving their art philosophies around and put the effort that they are into this into more practical areas
